August 31–September 6 edition: two bills added
Following additional research, the edition was supplemented to include AB 1979, addressing AI clinical decision support and health-care chatbots, and AB 2392, establishing GenAI procurement and training standards for California’s public higher-education systems. Both were presented to the Governor during the reporting period. No previously published item was withdrawn or substantively corrected.
